Welcome to Grace Baptist Church!
What To Expect
When you first arrive at Grace Baptist Church you will be greeted by friendly people who are genuinely glad to see you. They will help you find where you need to be. People will want to say hello but you will not be singled out or embarrassed in any way. You are our guest.
What to wear – You will find some wearing blue jeans and some wearing suits. Our ladies often wear pants. The main thing is just to be yourself when you come to Grace the first time.
Where to go – If you are coming for the worship service at 11:00 it is best to enter through the front door of the church. You will find yourself at the back of the worship center and not entering in front of a lot of people. Our friendly greeters will help you feel comfortable and meet any needs that you may have. The Handicap Accessible entrance is located on the side of the building at the covered drop off.
What is the worship service like?
At Grace, we use a variety of music styles in the service – hymns, southern gospel, contemporary, and traditional. The pastor will bring a talk from the Bible that is designed to help believers better understand how much God loves them and will be helpful in the coming week. There is a special time with the pastor for children when he shares an object lesson designed just for them.

Statement of Beliefs
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for our statement of faith.
Our purpose is to band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the Good News of salvation to lost mankind.
The two ordinances we observe are baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper which we do in remembrance of Him.
About the Bible
The Holy Bible is the inerrant (without any errors) word of God that He gave to men to write down. It is a love letter through which we can understand how much God loves us and what He did so we could have a relationship with Him.
About God
God has existed forever and will continue to exist forever. He is holy (without sin or blemish). He is in control of this world and history unfolds according to His perfect plan. God expresses Himself through three distinct persons (the Trinity) of which He is the head. He loves people and wants to be in relationship with them forever.
About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second person in the Trinity. When He came to earth, His birth was a miracle since his mother was a virgin. He lived a sinless life on earth and died on a cross at the hands of the Roman government and Jewish leaders of His day. After three days, He was resurrected (came back to life like He promised). His death on the cross satisfied the expectation of His holy Father for our sin to be punished. He will return to this earth one day to establish a new heaven and new earth where those who trust their life to Him will spend eternity.
About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God’s presence within those who believe in Him. He is the third person of the Trinity. He gives believers the strength to live according to the principles found in Scripture. As we rely on His leadership in our daily life, we find the strength to overcome the challenges this world throws at Christ followers.
About Salvation
We enter an everlasting relationship with God by placing our full trust in His Son, Jesus Christ. It is only by grace through faith that we receive the gift of eternal life. We cannot earn our way into heaven. This relationship becomes the most important relationship in our lives.
About the Christian Life
The lives of people who have sincerely trusted in Jesus Christ are changed. In the process of maturing in their faith, they discard old habits and ideas that destroy their life and replace them with a lifestyle that results in joy, peace and service to God.
OUR CHURCH VERSE
